Expeditions farm again after the game's 0.5 update
- Expeditions stopped giving up mid-fight. Horus used to confirm a room had launched by looking for the "Game Started!" banner — UPD 0.5 doesn't draw one, so every pass failed its start check and Horus restarted a perfectly healthy run. One session ran 37 minutes and completed zero runs while the game was fighting at wave 3. Takeoff is now confirmed by the Start Game vote panel disappearing, the only thing on that screen that genuinely changes when a room launches.
- A finished expedition is recognized again. UPD 0.5 renamed the reward text to "click anywhere to close" — the shipped images said "continue", so a completed, paid-out run sat untouched for 20 minutes and was then reported as the game being hung.
- No more six-minute checkpoint deadlock. The ✓ Continue button stays visible underneath its own "Continue Expedition" confirm box, so Horus kept re-pressing it — and each press dismissed the box it had just opened. It now holds off while that box is up and answers the box instead.
- Units your room couldn't afford now actually get placed. An expedition room only buys as much of your placement list as its starting yen covers: it stops at the first unit it can't afford and silently drops the rest, even cheap ones. Measured live — the room opened with ¥3,500, the layout queued ¥6,300, and exactly 3 of 6 units appeared. Horus now re-places the missing units once the fight has paid out. This needs the Unit Manager's master Auto Upgrading switch ON — a unit that lands late can only be levelled by the game itself (see the setup guide). Story and raid stages are untouched.
- Re-cut the Payload label and the hovered Start Game button for UPD 0.5. They ship as extra images, so nothing that already matched on your PC changed — your recordings, layouts and settings all keep working.
The border knows its place
- The status border no longer covers your other windows. It used to float on top of everything — including Horus itself, making buttons look unclickable. It now sticks to the game window: click into Horus, Discord, or anything else and it stays behind them, and it hides whenever the game is minimized.
- Self-tuning is now off by default. The shipped button images match cleanly on every machine we've tested, so Horus no longer re-learns buttons on its own — a wrongly learned button costs more than a weak match. If Repeat/Restart ever stops being detected on your PC, flip the Self-tuning switch — and if that ever happens, the log now points you straight to it. If you already turned the switch on, your choice is kept.
The big one — new interface, Expeditions, and a self-driving window
- A brand-new HD interface — cleaner, faster, with a live History tab: passes, success rate, passes per hour, and a sparkline of every run. (The classic interface stays as an automatic fallback, so Horus starts on every PC.)
- Expeditions mode, fully automated. Record an expedition like any other run — Horus detects the mode by itself. It places your units before the ship takes off, presses Start, clears checkpoint prompts and buff picks mid-run, clicks through the rewards, and loops. Proven with a 157-of-159-pass overnight farm.
- Your game window handles itself. The moment Roblox opens, Horus sizes it to the standard layout and frames it with a status border you can read from across the room — green running, red stopped. The border disappears when the game closes and comes back with it. On Start, Horus brings the game to the front (and tells you if Windows refused) and minimizes itself out of the way.
- Smarter self-tuning. When a button matches weakly on your PC, Horus re-learns it from your own screen — now with strict quality gates so a bad capture can never sneak in and confuse detection.
- Start from anywhere. Press Start mid-fight, on the Victory/Defeat screen, or on the rewards — it attaches, finishes the run, and loops.
- Honest diagnostics. If something blocks the screen (Discord overlay, another window), the log names it. Abandoned passes save a screenshot so support takes one message, not ten.
Overnight farms that don't quietly die
- Your PC won't fall asleep mid-farm. Horus now keeps the machine awake for as long as a run is going, then lets it sleep normally again the moment you stop. This was the single biggest killer of overnight farms — the PC dozed off and the macro sat there doing nothing until morning.
- It can't get stuck staring at a dead screen any more. If the game crashes, disconnects, freezes, or just ends up on some screen Horus wasn't expecting, it now notices, gives up on that run, and starts a fresh one instead of waiting forever. Three separate safety nets cover this, including one that catches a frozen game that's still animating — a loading spinner used to be enough to fool it.
- Every run is now timed and logged. You get a one-line summary per run (how long it took, how many units it placed, whether it finished) and a summary for the whole session when you stop. Spotting a bad run used to mean reading thousands of lines; now it's obvious at a glance.
- Screenshots when something goes wrong. If a run gets abandoned, Horus saves a picture of exactly what was on screen into a "diag" folder next to your log. If you ever need help, that one image answers most questions instantly. Only the 20 most recent are kept, so it never eats your disk space.
- Clearer logs. A stuck run used to spam hundreds of identical lines; it now says it once and keeps count. Real problems are flagged as errors so they're easy to find, and the top of every log records your settings and which recognition images you're using — the usual culprit behind "it worked yesterday".
- Mid-act victory and defeat screens count too. The Repeat button is now recognized on the mid-run layout (the one with Next Stage and View Party), not just the end-of-act Replay screen — so farms on any stage of an act loop reliably.
- Nothing to re-do on your end: your recordings, layouts, and settings all keep working exactly as they are.
One setup, every PC
- Horus now auto-sizes the game to one fixed standard the moment you open it — so recognition works the same on every machine, with no per-PC re-capturing. Proven end-to-end on multiple PCs, including low-end laptops.
- Smarter recognition that knows how big every button should be on your screen — lookalike icons and wrong-size matches are rejected outright, so it clicks the right thing, every time.
- Clicks now move and press like a real hand (travel, hover, press) — so the game always registers them, even on slower machines where instant clicks used to get swallowed.
- Placement starts the instant "Game Started!" appears — with the wave banner and battle HUD as automatic backups — so your recording replays right on time.
- New vote-start flow: Horus presses the in-game Start button itself (free and Premium), and re-presses automatically if the game missed it. Same for the Settings restart shortcut.
- End-of-run rewards clear themselves automatically, all the way back to the Repeat screen, so the loop never stalls on a reward popup.
- A live on-screen frame wraps the game and shows what Horus is doing at a glance: idle, recording, running, or waiting to replay.
- One-click "Fix detection" tunes recognition to your exact PC — and the activity log now tells you exactly what Horus is looking for, what it matched, and where, at all times.
Free tier: perfectly-timed starts
- Free runs now sync themselves to the game: press Start whenever, then hit Play in-game — placement fires the instant the battle actually begins, same accuracy as Premium. No time limit; it waits while you navigate menus.
- If the stage never starts, Horus now stops safely instead of clicking on the wrong screen.
- A Defeat now ends the free run right away (it watches for the Repeat screen too) instead of waiting out a long timeout.
- The activity log now walks you through your next step at every stage — launch, start, and end of run — tailored to Free or Premium, so you can get going without reading any guide.
Big-screen & 4K support
- Detection widened to cover very large displays (3000px+ wide / 4K and beyond). Superseded in v2.0: the game window is auto-sized to one standard, so your screen size no longer matters at all.
- “Fix detection” added to the HD interface, and “Check my setup” points big-screen users straight at it.
- The HD window sizes itself correctly on scaled-up high-DPI monitors — no more cramped, misrendered buttons.
HD interface: no extra downloads
- The optional HD interface now uses the .NET that already ships with Windows — no extra downloads. It’s still a beta look: the reliable interface stays the default, and Horus auto-falls back to it on PCs where HD can’t start.
One-click “Fix detection” for any PC
- New “Fix detection” button: one click re-learns the buttons from your exact display — the reliable fallback for any graphics setup. (As of v2.0 it works on any screen — end screen, Start Game vote, or mid-battle.)
Works across PCs — high & low graphics
- Detection now recognizes buttons on both high- and low-graphics setups, so the loop runs the same whether your PC is a beast or a potato.
- Wider resolution matching across 1080p, 1440p, and 4K. Superseded in v2.0 by the auto-sized standard window.
- HD interface starts more reliably on PCs that have both .NET versions installed.
Rock-solid detection & a cleaner, safer loop
- Re-cut every loop button from the real game UI — Repeat, Restart, and the Game-Started banner now match reliably on a fresh PC.
- No more mis-fires: if a run hasn’t actually started, Horus waits and retries instead of placing units on the wrong screen.
- Smarter auto-tuning that only ever adjusts to the correct on-screen banner, and repairs itself if it ever gets it wrong.
Loop reliability: cleaner Repeat & Restart detection
- Re-cut the Victory/Defeat “Repeat Stage” button so the loop reliably restarts instead of stalling on the end screen.
- Manual restarts now auto-confirm: open Settings → Restart mid-run and Horus taps “Restart” for you, then re-attaches on the next run.
Restart-attach, in-app activation & Discord self-service
- Restart-attach: start a farm from any point — open Settings mid-wave and Horus taps Restart, confirms, and re-runs your setup the moment “Game Started!” appears.
- Activate Premium in-app: paste your key once and it sticks across launches; sign out to move machines.
- Discord self-service: /key re-sends your key, /hwidreset moves your license to a new PC, /status shows your subscription.
- Instant launch: license checks moved off the startup thread, plus a startup watchdog so the window can never hang.
Reward click-through + theme picker
- Auto-clicks the rewards screen and secret-unit cutscene between runs.
- New blue / red / teal UI themes with a live switcher.
- Faster attach from the Victory/Defeat screen.
Auto-attach & structured layouts
- Auto-attach: re-queues the next run with no input.
- Structured layout format for complex raids.
- DPI-aware capture for high-res displays.
First public build
- Record-and-replay core: capture a setup, play it back.
- Free one-tap replay; Premium auto-loop.
- Color-coded activity log.
